Information you provide
When you use the contact form, PineRoster collects the name, email address, phone number, and message you submit. The form also records the submission time and IP address for delivery logging and abuse prevention. Do not enter personal or confidential information in the public demo.
How the information is used
Contact details and messages are used to respond to your inquiry, prepare requested project information, and maintain a reliable record if email delivery fails. PineRoster and Dirt River Design do not sell personal information.
Storage and service providers
Contact submissions are stored in private server logs and may pass through the website host, email-delivery provider, and spam-prevention provider when those services are configured. Information is retained only as long as reasonably useful for correspondence, security, legal, and business-record purposes.
Cookies and local browser storage
The contact form uses a session cookie for request security. The live demo uses a session cookie for authentication. The light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser. Those three are set by this site alone and are not used for advertising.
Google Analytics also sets its own cookies, which is how repeat visits are counted as one person rather than several. What Google does with that data is governed by Google’s terms rather than by this site, so it is not something PineRoster can promise on their behalf. Blocking those cookies in your browser, or with a privacy extension, does not affect anything on the site.
Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use: which pages get read, roughly where visitors arrive from, and whether anyone reaches the contact form. It is configured with IP anonymization, and it is used to see whether the site is doing its job, not to identify individual visitors. Your browser or privacy tools may block it, and nothing on the site depends on it loading.
Ordinary hosting logs may still record technical details such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time for security and operations. That happens whether or not analytics is switched on.
Your choices
You may ask what contact information is being retained or request its correction or deletion, subject to records that must be kept for security, contractual, or legal reasons.
